Srecom, nema potrebe za moraliziranjem i nerviranjem, jer Nobelova nagrada
nema gotovo nikakvu relevantnost u literaturi i nagradi za mir.

tvrdnje koje počinju sa “some argue” i smatraju da trebaju naglasiti “born robert zimmerman” u načelu ignoriram
no ipak bih istaknuo činjenicu da je dylanova poezija dotakla milijune ljudi što je uspjelo rijetkima
uostalom nobel ide “to those who have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind” (citat iz nobelove oporuke)
npr. einstein ga nije dobio za teoriju relativnosti (njegov najveći doprinos znanosti) nego za fotoelektrični efekt (njegov najprimjenljivaniji doprinos)
p.s. ja bih nobela dao i cohenu 🙂

A ja moram priznati da mene takvi komentari najvise pobudjuju na citanje.
Sto bi rekli Englezi, takes all sorts to make a world.
Meni je, recimo totalno besmislen “argument” da bi nekome trebalo
dodijeliti Nobelovu nagradu zato sto su njegove pjesme dodirnule srca
milijuna ljudi.
Ne mislim da ima smisla nabrajati sto je sve, tko je sve i cime dodirnuo
srca milijuna ljudi, pa to ne zasluzuje Nobelovu nagradu.
No, kao sto rekoh, ljudi koji se bave knjizevnoscu uglavnom i tako
ignoriraju ono sto o vrijednosti pojedinih pisaca i spisateljica ima reci
odbor za dodjelu Nobelove nagrade.
nobelov komitet za književnost nije samo književna kritika
kao što ni njegovi komiteti za znanosti nisu samo znanstvena
mogu samo ponoviti da se nobel (prema oporuci) daje
“to those who have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind”
i to nisu nužno (iako često jesu) najveći književnici i znanstvenici
npr. matematičari i ekonomisti nisu oporučno uključeni jer je nobel (vjerojatno) smatrao da nisu “those who could confer the greatest benefit on mankind” 🙂

pokazala da itekako zna biti pogodjen,ali i promasen.Ja podrzavam
hrabrost,pa cak i ako su eventualno promasili ovaj puta.

Dylanov se “greatest benefit to the mankibnd” nije očitovao u njegovu poznatom stihu u prozi “Just like Jews can sense Nazi blood and the Serbs can sense Croatian blood.”

Uz Dylanovo “Nazis – Croats”. — Kad bi i bilo poznato i samo u ex-Yu, to ne bi mijenjalo činjenicu da je to izrekao. No izrekao je u “Rolling Stone”, a komentari su u The Guardian, Bloomberg, NYTimes (S. Goldstein!), Jewish Press, etc:

Ne možemo biti sigurni da svoje “humane” stihove upućuje i Hrvatima (jer ih vjerojatno ne upućuje ni (neo)nacistima).
A i stilski je pogriješio: “Jews – Serbs”, ali “Nazis – Croats”. Zamislimo da je bio stilski dosljedan pa umjesto “Nazis” stavio “Germans”!

srečko, sve istina, moj je komentar da ta glupa, uvredljiva i neistinita izjava ima odjeka samo u “regionu” (širi odjek je na “hrvatsku” tužbu protiv dylana, a ne na izjavu) i da nema nikakvog značaja za vrednovanje dylanove poezije
Sto to znaci da nije najbolji u svojoj generaciji? Pa vjerojatno i nije (ako se ogranicimo samo na pop-rock kulturu, ne nedostaje bardova njegove generacije, da ne spominjemo ‘visoku kulturu’) ali Dylan je u recepciji siroke javnosti (‘benefit on mankind’) ikona koja sazima angaziran gradjanski stav i uspjesno ga ‘diseminira’ djelujuci kroz obrazac rock-songa (koji je usput i redefinirao vise puta). Da li je to literatura? I da i ne – sigurno ima dodirnih tocaka, ali … Medjutim kao i karakter same nagrade (koja i sama medijskim plasmanom nadilazi strogo ‘strucni’ karakter te odasilje poruke slicne manirizmu pop kulture), Dylanova pojava (a na taj nacin i ovogodisnji odabir) imaju simbolicnu tezinu.
